Growing in chaos

 Growing in chaos

My Experience as a Teenager Today

I’ve been wanting to write about many things that have happened to me, both in the past and currently. Life has taught me a lot, and honestly, I don’t regret learning those lessons because they’ve been really valuable in shaping my adult life.

One thing I’ve realized a long time ago is that adults often think teenagers live in some kind of fantasy world because we don’t have bills to pay, no debts, and they think we have no worries. But that’s not true at all. We have problems. We worry about what others think of us, whether we are kind or empathetic. You have to be confident in yourself to face life, because there are people who will take advantage of your weaknesses to bring you down or humiliate you.

I’m starting by talking about my childhood... it was a difficult time, and it’s something that still affects me today. I had problems with my parents, and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who I am, what my purpose is, why I was born, and what my role is in this life. I often ask myself existential questions because, truth be told, I didn’t have much guidance in my life. I just did my things, my chores, and activities, but I was always involved in so many different classes and hobbies since I was little. Some of them I loved, others I hated, especially because they were the ones my parents wanted me to do.
